Saw a photo of this on Reddit and had to ask here. The Local Tavern has a burger challenge called the Hubbcap, and it's 20 inches across and 6.5 pounds, with another 2.5 pounds of fries on the side. That's 9 pounds of food on one table.
Has anyone actually seen somebody finish one, or tried it yourself? I'm guessing most people just split it with a whole table and call it a night.
I also realized I've lived off Alexander Road for a couple years and have never been in there. What's the rest of the menu like? Is it a regular sit-down kind of place, or more of a bar where you go late? Trying to decide if it's worth a trip this month or if the challenge is the whole draw. Anything you'd order that isn't the giant burger?
