HVAC tune-up around Bryant, who do you use?

Should have done this back in October... Furnace is 11 years old and has never had a real look-over. Hearing a little rattle when it kicks on and I'd rather not find out it quit on a freezing night.

Who do you use in Bryant or close by for a tune-up? Honest and fair is all I ask... And if anybody has a bad story, I'd like to know who to steer clear of.

Just my two cents

11 years is nothing for a furnace, mine is pushin 20. Check ur filter first tho, a rattle on startup is sometimes just a loose panel screw or the blower wheel. I been usin a fella out of Benton about 8 yrs and he never tried to sell me a new unit. Ill dig out his card and post it if I can find it

Twenty years, wow... Mine's got a ways to go then. I'll check the filter tonight, haven't looked at it since summer, I'm sure it's filthy...

Yes please on the card, a fella who doesn't push a new unit is exactly what I'm after. Benton's no trouble for me.

ronald's advice on the filter is solid. mine was the same way, found it totally caked last winter and the rattle was just a loose panel on the blower side. 5 minute fix with a screwdriver.

one more thing since it's a gas furnace, make sure your carbon monoxide detector has good batteries while you're at it. cheap and easy to forget about.

also with it being christmas eve and a cold snap coming, most of the HVAC outfits around here are probably booked solid or on holiday hours. i'd call first thing monday or tuesday so you're not stuck waiting. hope it's just a screw for you.
