Happy almost New Year, neighbors. I'm hoping you can point me to someone good for tree work.
We lost a couple of big limbs off the old oak in the side yard this month, and one more is hanging up there that I don't like the look of. It's over the edge of the driveway, so I'd just as soon not wait for the next round of wind. Used to be we'd handle this ourselves with a chainsaw and a trailer, but I'm not climbing anything at my age and I'm not letting anyone else's relative do it for cash either.
What I'm looking for:
- Insured. I will ask for the paperwork, so don't be shy.
- A straight price in writing before any work starts. No "we'll see once we get up there."
- Hauls off all the debris. I've been burned before by a fellow who cut it all up and left it in a pile in the yard, and I was the one still dealing with it come spring.
I've had two or three people knock on the door since the storms offering to take care of it, but none of them could tell me who they were insured through, so I passed.
If you've had work done anywhere around Bryant or out toward Benton, tell me who you used and whether the final bill matched the quote. Good or bad, I'd like to hear it. Thank you in advance.
